After-Sales Service · South Delhi (city-wide)
Despite being a loyal Eureka Forbes customer for over 30 years, I'm facing repeated service failures with my Dr. Aquaguard Geneus+ under a valid Gold AMC. Here's how poor after-sales service, false promises, and unresolved complaints forced me to speak out.
Issue started: April 2025 | Last updated: August 12, 2025
For over three decades, I've been a loyal customer of Eureka Forbes — a brand that once stood for trust, quality, and exceptional after-sales service. I've used and recommended their products, especially their Aquaguard water purifiers, to friends and family with complete confidence.
But today, I find myself writing this post out of sheer disappointment and frustration — because the Eureka Forbes of 2025 is no longer the brand I once trusted.
The product I own is Dr. AQUAGUARD GENEUS+ (RO+UV+UF) — initially covered under a Genuine AMC – Gold, valid until 5th September 2025.

This AMC promised peace of mind, free repairs, and priority service. But my experience has been a nightmare of repeated failures, false promises, and exploitation.
Between 24th April and 13th May 2025, I raised multiple service complaints. Here's the documented proof from their own system:

Service Request History (All Marked "Closed" Despite Unresolved Issues):
Every single time, a technician came, claimed the issue was fixed, and then:
This isn't service — it's systematic mismanagement disguised as customer support.
The complaint that broke the camel's back was Service Request No. CM-220525-51432224, booked on 22nd May 2025 for a "No Water" issue.

Days passed with the ticket showing "Open" — no technician assigned, no one coming, no service initiated. Meanwhile, I was left with no usable drinking water, despite holding a premium AMC plan.

Here's where Eureka Forbes crossed the line from poor service to outright deception.
Documented proof: Service Request CM-100625-52943068 on July 1, 2025, 04:00-05:00 PM shows the AMC renewal visit.
During this visit, under pressure and false promises, I was convinced to renew my AMC. The sales representative told me:
I paid for another AMC extension based on these assurances.
After the so-called filter replacement, I tested the water quality. The TDS level was 725 — completely unsafe for drinking and higher than many tap water sources. This was after they claimed to have installed "fresh filter bottles."
For context, safe drinking water should have TDS levels below 300-500. At 725, this water was potentially harmful to consume.

Service Request CM-090725-54981749 on July 9, 2025, 12:00-01:00 PM shows their system logged this visit as "Closed."
On this date, after yet another complaint about the high TDS and water quality issues, a technician visited. Instead of fixing the problem, he removed a part of the filter system and promised to return with a replacement.
The system shows this as "Closed" - but they took my equipment parts and never returned.
It's now August 12th, 2025. More than a month has passed since they took the filter part. I've made multiple calls, raised complaints, and waited for updates.
Current Status: One complaint remains open - Service Request CM-270725-56346967 scheduled for July 28, 2025, 09:00-10:00 AM, still showing "Open" status with no resolution.
Nothing. Complete radio silence despite an "Open" ticket in their system.
I'm sitting here with:
Most interactions were with technician Om Prakash (95079 90821). While personally polite, his priorities were clear:
This reflects systematic training that prioritizes sales over service delivery.
The screenshots from Eureka Forbes' own service tracking system reveal the systematic nature of their failures:
Pattern of False Closures:
This isn't incompetence - it's deliberate system manipulation to hide service failures.
An AMC should protect customers and ensure reliable service. Instead, Eureka Forbes used it as:
Key failures:
I remained loyal to this brand for over three decades, through multiple product purchases and consistent AMC renewals. I recommended your products to family and friends based on past trust.
Today, you've not just failed me as a customer — you've actively deceived me, taken my money under false pretenses, and left me without basic drinking water for months.
This is not service failure. This is systematic fraud.
If you're considering Eureka Forbes products:
RED FLAGS TO WATCH:
PROTECTION STRATEGIES:
After 30 years of loyalty, I'm left without drinking water, scammed out of AMC renewal money, and completely abandoned by Eureka Forbes customer service.
This company has fallen so far from its original values that it's now actively harming the customers who built its reputation.
If you're reading this, Eureka Forbes management, know that you haven't just lost a customer — you've created an active advocate against your predatory service practices.
Will anyone from Eureka Forbes take responsibility? Or will you continue hiding behind call center scripts while customers suffer?
The ball is in your court. But my trust? That's gone forever.
